Nader Brighet, Ph.D., Assistant Head of School

Nader holds a Ph.D. in French literature and speaks Arabic, French, and English fluently. He has worked with high schoolers, university students, and USAID diplomatic staff. He brings rigorous exam prep along with warmth and humor, and he helps students build conversational confidence fast.
Fun fact: To Nader, every conversation is a story. He brings that curiosity into every lesson.

Véronique Mbia, M.A., Academic Dean
Specialties: Pronunciation and Accent • Conversation • Beginner French • Teen and Adult Instruction
Véronique studied linguistics and earned a master’s in speech therapy, with a specialization in phonetics and sound production. She works with learners who know the grammar but freeze when it is time to speak. Her pronunciation coaching goes deeper than most tutors ever go.
Fun fact: She listens to songs in French to find hidden phonetic patterns. Her students get the benefit of that habit.

Boshra Chater, Dean of Faculty
Specialties: Conversation • French Through Film and Culture • Beginner and Intermediate French
Boshra holds a degree in Image Design and Audiovisual Advertising and has worked as both an assistant director and director. She uses film, culture, and real conversation to make French feel alive. She is especially strong with beginners and intermediate learners who want to speak with more ease.
Fun fact: She once directed a short film in 48 hours for a film challenge, and finished it.

Tahiana Razafimamonjy, Director of “Animals of the Francophone World” Program
Specialties: DELF and DALF Prep • Teen Tutoring • Beginner and Intermediate French
Tahiana holds a DALF C2, the highest level of French certification, along with a Montessori teaching certification and a background in commerce and project management. He has taught in Montessori schools and worked with students preparing for DELF and DALF exams at multiple levels. Teens respond well to his structured, patient teaching style.
Fun fact: Tahiana grew up on a farm in Madagascar and has had a soft spot for animals ever since. It shows up in the program he leads.

Naëlla Gaston, Director of Beauty and Fashion Program
Specialties: Québécois French • Conversation • Cultural Immersion
Naëlla is a native French speaker from Quebec and specializes in Québécois French, conversational fluency, and cultural immersion. She brings Francophone culture into every lesson, not just the language, but the way it shows up in everyday life. She is especially strong with adult learners who want French to feel real, not textbook.
Fun fact: Naëlla is a devoted vintage fashion hunter. To her, every old piece has a story, just like every new word in French.

Luke Page, Director of Art and Music Program
Specialties: Pacific French • All Ages • French Through Creative Media
Luke was born and raised bilingually in New Caledonia and has spent years living and teaching across island nations in the Pacific, Japan, Tonga, and New Zealand. He studied screen arts and has written music and stories across multiple media. He teaches with a creative, culturally grounded approach that helps French feel vivid and memorable.
Fun fact: He once composed a piece of music during a storm, and later realized it matched the rhythm of the rain almost perfectly.

Hinatea Vannes, Tahitian Dance Instructor (‘Ori Tahiti)
Specialties: Native French (France) • Cultural Immersion • All Ages
Hinatea was born in Bordeaux, France, is of Tahitian origin, and now lives in Poland. She teaches French through cultural immersion, drawing on her background in Polynesian culture, storytelling, and the arts. Her lessons bring warmth, perspective, and a lived connection to the Francophone world.
